Foreign owned companies established by Investment Law and Enterprise Law or re-registered by law can set up its branch and representative office in Vietnam. The establishing such sub-entity is not necessary to comply with procedures regulated in Investment Law.

The files set, procedures for branch and office representative is regulated in the Decree 43/2010 dated April 15, 2010 and the operation registration be performed at Investment Management Authorities
2. In case the branch establishment is accompanied by the Investment project registration, the files set include the documents regulated in the Decree 43/2010 dated April 15, 2010 and Investment Law. In such cases, the investment Certificate will be the Branch operation registration Certificate
